The Inter-University Jewish Federation of Britain today adopted a resolution deploring the British Government’s policy on Palestine, especially in view of the assurances made to last year’s Federation conference in a letter sent by Ellen Wilkinson, now Minister of Education, and then Chairman of the Labor Party, which expressed complete sympathy with the Zionist cause.
The resolution expressed confidence in the possibility of establishing a Jewish State with full guarantees of equal rights for the Arabs. Eighty delegates from all over Britain and several continental observers attended the conference.
