The reports concerning a projected Jewish university in Czechoslovakia are unfounded, a local inquiry disclosed. It developed that no site was purchased for the university, as was reported.
The project has not advanced beyond the stage of a plan which is being promoted by an unnamed American Jew of Czech origin. It is not intended to establish a university for the victims of the numerus clausus in the neighboring countries, but rather to develop high school courses similar to the Ukrainian and Russian high schools here.
