The 19th annual New York State convention of the Jewish War Veterans this week-end demanded a full public investigation of the administration of City College and other municipal institutions of higher education because of “alleged disclosures of anti-Semitism and anti-Negroism in the attitude of certain members of the faculty” of these institutions.

The resolution asked the New York State Department of Education to carry out the investigation. A second resolution called on the State Department to recognize the Israel OLympics Committee, in order to permit its acceptance in the Olympic Games, and withdrawal of recognition from the West German committee. Fifteen hundred delegates representing 285 posts in the state attended the four-day session which closed yesterday.
