Both major political parties were called on yesterday “to do all in their power to ban from the forthcoming Presidential campaign the injection of false racial and religious issues” in a resolution adopted by the national executive committee of the Jewish War Veterans. The JWV specifically at tacked Congressman Hamilton Fish for seeking to bring false religious issues into the campaign.
Another resolution, adopted unanimously, protested the persecution of the Jews in Europe, particularly in Hungary, and pledged support to the American Jewish Conference for the mass demonstration to take place tomorrow at Madison Square Park.Plans for a War Conference, to be held in New York, Oct. 5 through S, were announced. Twenty-five hundred delegates are expected to attend the conference.
