Jewish war veterans from all parts of the nation will convene here from September 2nd to the 5th for the eleventh annual encampment of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States.
About 1,500 delegates are expected and addresses will be delivered by a number of leading public officials. A George Washington Bicentennial military ball also will be a feature of the occasion. J. George Fredman, of Jersey City, heads the convention committee and Louis Weiss, of Newark, clerk of the N. J. House of Assembly, is secretary. It is announced that Col. Isaac De Costa, 89, of this city, will be the oldest member of the organization, attending the sessions. He is a Civil War vteran.
