The Association of Jewish Ex-Servicemen and Women of Britain today protested the Communist anti-Jewish and anti-Zionist campaign.
In a statement of policy, the veterans group warned that “perilous consequences” are “bound to ensue” from the Prague trial and the charges against the Moscow doctors. The statement declared that no Jew is safe “if to be Jewish can be made part of a criminal indictment against an individual.” It also stated that “if it is a crime to be a Zionist then it may be but a short step to the assumption that all Jews at heart are Zionists and therefore criminals.”
