A mass meeting will be held on the evening of October 29 by Jewish organizations under the auspices of the Jewish War Veterans as a counter-affair to the German Day celebration which will be held at the same time under control of the Nazis in this country, at the 165th Regiment Armory.
Efforts of the war veterans to have the permit to use the armory cancelled, were unsuccessful. Col, James E. Costigan, of the 165th Regiment, informed Major Julius Hochfelder, attorney for the veterans, that he could do nothing to revoke the permit.
