Benjamin Kaufman, national commander of the Jewish War Veterans of the U.S., announced today that he had pledged to Secretary of the Treasury Morgenthau that the Jewish War Veterans of the U.S. would sell twelve millions dollars worth of the Third War Loan Bonds. He pledged the support of the 40,000 members of the organization.
The drive will be opened at the 48th National Convention of the organization to be held at Kiamesha, New York, from September 16 to 19, by representatives of the U.S. Treasury Department. Members who are unable to attend the convention have been urged to send their pledges.
