The Jewish Welfare Fund of this city is currently distributing to nearly 50 overseas, local and national Jewish agencies the sum of $6,411,761, the results of its current campaign efforts. A total of $4,062,500 was allocated to overseas bodies, $1,878,061 went to local needs, $275,000 was set aside for local capital funds while $196,200 was appropriated to national agencies. It was indicated that some additional funds would later be available from pledges still coming in.
