“The Role of Jewish Communal Work in American jewish Life” will be the theme of the six-day annual convention of the National conference of Jewish Social Welfare which opens here on Friday at the Lord Baltimore Hotel, It is being held in conjunction with the National Association of Jewish center Workers and the National Council of Jewish Education.
The annual meeting of the American Association of Jewish Education will also open here tomorrow evening at the Hotel Emerson, with educators from all parts of the country in attendance. Several sessions of the meeting will be held jointly with the National Council for Jewish Education.
The educators will review the progress and study the problems of Jewish religious education in the U.S. Panel and round-table discussions will be held on various aspects of the Jewish school system and methods of teaching.
