Mrs. Fannie Gold celebrated her 108th birthday at the home of her son, Samuel Gold in Brooklyn. Fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren were present to offer their congratulations. Of her own children, only a son and a daughter are still living.
Mrs. Gold still is able to work about the stationary store of her son. Asked as to the receipe for longevity, Mrs. Gold replied “Perhaps I can tell you when I am 200.”
