The Gaumont British Film Corporation was formed here with a capital of two and a half million pounds. Among the directors are Captain Alfred Davis, son of Mrs. Davis, and Messrs, Woolf and Rowson.
Mrs. Davis owns several cinemas besides the Shepherds Bush Pavillion, the largest in Europe.
