A woman active in Jewish communal affairs was appointed today to the Board of Elementary Education of Montreal, after being nominated for the post by the Canadian Jewish Congress. She is Mrs. Sarah Paltiel. The appointment was made by the Superior Council of Education in Quebec. The Council had asked the CJC to nominate “competent” candidates for the 15-member Board of Elementary Education.
