Sarah Brilliant has died here at the age of 110.
The deceased was noted for her energy and activity despite her great age. She read without spectacles and until a few weeks ago paid regular visits to the Yiddish theatres.
In the philanthropic work of Warsaw, she played a considerable part, particularly with the societies that provide charities for poor brides and that make themselves responsible for the weddings of orphans.
Her funeral was attended by her numerous grand-children and great-grand-children, as well as students from the Talmudic colleges which she helped during life.
