The Jewish Women League announced today that many of its members are receiving threatening letters in connection with the ban on employment of “Aryan” domestics. The letters demand that “Aryan” servants who must leave their jobs as a result of the Nuremberg laws be given substantial Christmas gifts and a month’s pay in lieu of severance notice since it is not the fault of the girls that they cannot continue in the service of Jews. The league advises its members not to pay attention to the letters.
