The New York Section of the National Council of Jewish Women will celebrate the opening of a new Council House at 1122 Forest Avenue, the Bronx, on March 19th. Speakers announced for dedication exercises will include Rabbi Stephen S. Wise, Hon. Joseph V. McKee, president of the Board of Aldermen, Hon. Albert Cohn, Bronx County Judge and Mrs. Nathan Straus, Jr., President of the New York Section of the National Council of Jewish Women.
Many activities are flourishing in the new Council House. The auditorium is in a separate building, used for lectures, dances, moving pictures and gymnasium.
