Resolutions favoring legislation to improve working conditions, pre-marital medical examinations and a referendum on war were adopted today at the eighteenth annual convention of the Federation of Jewish Women’s Organizations, held at the Hotel Astor and attended by some 2,000 delegates.
The Federation also decided to participate in a Jewish exhibit at the New York World’s Fair to be sponsored by the Synagogue Council of America as part of the religious freedom exhibit.
