The School of the Jewish Woman, the first women’s institute for adult Jewish education, will open this fall at 125 East 85th Street. Registration for the courses to be offered, opens September 10, and will close October 15.
Courses will be given in Hebrew, Hebrew Literature, Bible, Jewish History and Jewish Customs and Ceremonies. The courses are given without any charge, and are open to the general public.
Dr. Trude Weiss Rosmarin is director of the school, Mrs. S. H. Hartley is registrar and Mrs. J. Harold Garfunkel is secretary.
