Several hundred dollars were raised toward a goal of $1,000 at the opening campaign meeting for the benefit of the industrial and agricultural workers of Palestine at the Y.M. and Y.W.H.A., under the auspices of Achad Ha’am Branch, No. 258, Jewish National Workers’ Alliance. I.B. Finkelstein is chairman of the drive, which will close Friday. Simon R. Krinsky opened the meeting.
The campaign committee comprises Dr. Sidney Chavin, Samuel Koppel, Marcus Stiftel, Herman Weiman, Abraham Seidel, Isaac Geller, J. Harad and Nathan Berger.
