Arnold Zweig, Franz Werfel, Felix Salten, and Benjamin Cremieux, are a few of the names of Jewish writers in German literature. Special attention was attracted by the arrival here from Warsaw of a delegation of the Yiddish P. E. N. Club which is participating in the congress for the first time. The delegation is headed by Sholom Asch. The newspapers today carried an interview with Mr. Asch, who described the P. E. N. Club as a spiritual League of Nations.
