German publishers are entitled to abrogate agreements and contracts with Jewish authors, the Juristiche Wochenschift, legal gazette, advises publishing houses today.
It points out that since the authorities have prohibited sales of books written by Jews, publishers cannot be expected to continue their agreements to publish works by Jewish writers and public books which cannot be sold legally.
