The Jewish youth of this city have formed a Jewish Youth Council to coordinate the activities of four youth organizations, it was announced by Pandy Rivin, a Council spokesman. One action now being planned is a protest march on April 8, a day before Pass over begins, in support of Soviet Jewry. The Council is organizing the entire Jewish community to participate in this demonstration. “We are writing a new Haggadah for this program,” said Rivin. Since the formation of the Council in recent weeks, members went to Winnebago to discuss with the Indians there a proposal for helping them establish a “Coffee House.” Rivin said that the Indians “acquired a run-down building but that nothing had been done to refurbish the structure. We hope to help them start setting up.” The Council consists of leaders of the four youth organizations and the aim of the Council, according to Rivin, is to “accomplish a higher level of programming and to strengthen each individual club.”
