Jewish youth from Palestine were prominent among the thousands of young people from all parts of the world who massed in Strahov Stadium ##re yesterday at the opening of the World Youth Congress.
The Palestine representatives included Zionists, Communists and left-wing ##abs. They carried Zionist and Arab flags and banners calling for Arab-Jewish cooperation. The Communists also carried anti-British posters.
Most members of the Jewish delegation are affiliated with the Hashomer Hat##ir, which carried nine huge blue-and-white standards. A few were dressed in Yemen##e costumes. The Palestinians were well received by the 40,000 spectators who ##led the stadium.
