A clash in which a number of Jews and Arabs were wounded occurred today in the Esak Heffer district when a group of Arab landowners attempted to drive off Jews who were ploughing J.N.F. land which had not been cultivated previously.
The land-owners secured the assistance of neighboring peasants, while residents of nearby Jewish settlements came to the aid of the ploughman. The arrival of police dispersed the Arabs.
