Several hundred Jews and-Arabs gathered yesterday near Hadera in the first of a series of rallies in support of villagers from Ikrit and Baram who want to return to their villages on the Lebanese border from which they were evacuated 25 years ago for security reasons. Maronite Archbishop Yousoff Raya, MK Uri Avneri and a group of writers and artists led the rally. The Archbishop described it as a true demonstration of Jewish-Arab brotherhood.
