The Association of Journalists in Wilno today adopted the “Aryan paragraph,” excluding Jews from membership. (The official Polish Telegraphic Agency, in a Wilno dispatch, said this was the first time such a change in constitution was voted by a Polish newspapermen’s organization.)

The official Gazeta Polska, declaring the preponderant number of lawyers were Jews, announced support of a campaign to Polonize the legal profession. Asserting radical measures were necessary to assure the Polish character of the profession, the paper printed an article stating that a bill shortly to be introduced in the Sejm regulating conditions in the profession should have a wider scope.
