The building of new Jewish urban quarters in Palestine and enlarging those in existence, the rebuilding of ruined colonies on a more expansive scale, the reconstruction of the destroyed section of Safed on a sounder sanitary and economic basis, the improvement of industry and the increased development of preventative medicine are among the chief problems being tackled in Palestine in the program of reconstruction made necessary by the riots of last summer, according to Dr. Haim Yassky, acting director of the Hadassah Medical Organization.
In an article in the current issue of the bi-monthly magazine published by Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, Dr. Yassky outlines the plan of restoration.
