The polish Committee of National Liberation today announced that individuals and organizations in the United States who wish to send assistance to individuals or groups in liberated Poland can do so by paying into American banks the designated sums, for transfer to the account of the Representation of the polish Committee of National Liberation in the “Bank Vnieshnei Torgovli” in Moscow, which is the Soviet Bank of Foreign Trade.
“The sums,” the announcement said, “will be paid out in accordance with the wishes of the senders to any person or organization indicated, according to the preferential rate of exchange of twelve zloty for one dollar.”
