The provisional Constitution which will be submitted for ratification by the people of Morocco on December 7 provides that all Moroccans are equal under the law and guarantees to all citizens freedom of worship and freedom of movement in all parts of the country, it was noted here today by Jewish leaders.
Moroccan Jews are expected to vote in large numbers for the new constitution for which appeals were made in Moroccan synagogues by local Jewish leaders. The draft also guarantees freedom of opinion and freedom of association.
