The chances that representatives of Jewish communities in some Communist countries may attend the next global conference of the World Jewish Congress, to be held in Brussels early in August, are “better than ever before,” Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the WJC, announced at a news conference here today. Maariv, an Israeli newspaper, reported that Rumania has already given permission for a delegation from that country to attend the Brussels parley, and that WJC negotiations are now being conducted with Hungary and Poland, where the “chances are good.”
