Many enterprises in the Reich have been employing Jews because of the shortage of labor, it was reported today by the Berlin correspondent of Jaunakas Zinas, Latvia’s largest newspaper.
The correspondent said 1,500 “non-Aryans” were now employed in the electrical trade. It was officially announced in Berlin that 1,500 Jews were now employed in railways and agriculture.
The Jewish population of Berlin increased from 80,000 to 90,000 last month, it was said.
