That the Jewish people have deserved the death penalty for a long time, and that the sentence passed in Leviticus, 26, 38, “And ye shall perish among the heathen and the land of your enemies shall eat you up” ought to be inflicted upon the Jews for violating their Covenant with their God, Jehovah, is the verdict of a new pogrom leaflet, thousands of which have been circulated all over Austria.
The author of the leaflet is Wladyslaw Adam Olschowsky, a Roman Catholic. He repeats the old accusations of the anti-Semites against the Jews, and proves on the basis of “evidence” from the Bible, Talmud, Shulkhan Aruch and the Protocols of the Elders of Zion that the Jewish people deserve the death
penalty because of the fact that when they concluded the Covenant with Jehovah they undertook the obligation either to fulfill the terms of the Covenant on to perish.
According to the Bible those who deserve death should be stoned, but, says the author of the pamphlet, in places where stones are scarce, rubber-tipped whips will do.
This latest outburst of anti-Semitic propaganda, which shows that the international anti-Semitic offensive against the Jews is now being directed along religious lines, is entitled: “The solution of the Jewish problem on the basis of the Jewish Covenant with Jehovah.” The leaflet was printed by the Hansa printing plant in Leipsig, which has recently become the center of anti-Semitic publication.
