Anti-Semitic propaganda is finding its way into the rest of Australia from Queensland, it was reported here today in the current issue of the Australian Jewish Herald of Melbourne.
The newspaper notes that while Queensland itself has been fairly free of anti-Semitic propaganda, it has at some times in the past been the headquarters for the diessemination of anti-Jewish material obviously produced abroad. Now, however, a “home grown” anti-Semitic pamphlet, considered the work of a crank, has come to the attention of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry.
The Melbourne paper also reports that Borge Jensen, author of many notorious anti-Jewish books and pamphlets, is currently on a lecture tour in Australia. At a recent meeting in Melbourne, Jensen condemned “Judaic influences” and paid tribute to the anti-Semitic Victorian League of Rights.
