The advisory council of the Jewish Central Committee in the British zone of Germany today voted to make “strong ## resentations” to the occupation authorities against the continued desecration of Jewish cemeteries. The council said that German vandals had damaged tombstones in more then 20 cemeteries since the beginning of the year.
The council repeated its offer to surrender the monthly allotment of Palestine certificates assigned to Jewish DP’s in the British zone to the Exodus refugees, so that they might reach Palestine as soon as possible. It also decided to extend whatever material aid it can to the 4,400 deportees.
