Jews in Hungary have been ordered to declare all their property by July 1, it was reported last night by the Nazi-controlled Vichy radio station.
The broadcast said that the registration of Jewish property will be followed by confiscations, adding that Jewish estates will be given to “Aryans.”
A report published in the London press today states that Bulgarian authorities have admitted that an epidemic of typhus has broken out among the Jews who were deported from Sofia. The epidemic is spreading rapidly in the places where they are interned and Jewish doctors are unable to check it because of lack of medicaments, the report says.
