A Jewish delegation appeared today before the Mexican Minister of Education Jaime Torres Bodet and conveyed to him a decision of the Jewish Central Comite here to contribute 11,000,000 pesos for the expansion of the Albert Einstein School which has 700 Mexican pupils.
A building for this school was presented eleven years ago by the Jews of Mexico as a gift to the educational authorities here. The expansion of the school will enable the institution to register additional 350 pupils. Max Shein, an American Jewish philanthropist has taken an interest in the school during all the 11 years of its existence. The delegation today was headed by him and by Dr. Sigmund Bibring, president of the Jewish Central Comite.
