The restoration of communal property to Jewish organizations is requested in a petition submitted to the government by the Central Committee of Polish Jews. The Committee asks issuance of a law placing in Jewish ##dy property left by Jewish communities which were wiped out during the Nazi occupation.
It was estimated here today that the value of such property, particularly re## estate, runs into many millions of dollars. The Federation of Jewish Communities, which is cooperating with the Central Committee, would be made heir to this ##erty if the requested law were promulgated.
