Rumanian Jews, 100,000 of whom have applied for emigration to Palestine, are appealing the decision of the Anglo-American inquiry committee not to visit this country.
In a cable to the chairman of the committee the local section of the World Jewish Congress protested the probers present plan to deal with the question of central and southern Europe from Austria, and urged that it come to Rumania for an investigation. Protest meetings are to be held throughout the country to demand that the inquiry group change its itinerary.
