A great number of Jewish city dwellers in the Ukraine are expressing their desire to avail themselves of the opportunity to settle on the land. Since the Central Executive Committee (Zik) in the Ukraine has issued the decree concerning granting facilities for Jewish land settlers, agricultural institutions are flooded with Jewish applicants. Measures are now being taken to prevent this Jewish “back to land” movement from assuming a disorganized character.
