Religious services in all synagogues in Turkey marked the 13th anniversary of the Warsaw ghetto uprising in 1943. Hundreds of men and women attended services at the Great Synagogue here. The local Jewish press carried a considerable number of articles commemorating the rebellion against the Nazis.
