Prospects that land will be alloted for Jewish colonization were held out in connection with the government plans for reclaiming swamp land.
It was stated here that the government is negotiating for a loan abroad to provide funds for draining the Polysian swamps which comprise 18,000 square kilometres. It was estimated the drainage work would take claimed land for colonization, the Jews will be given part of the reten years. It was said it is possible.
