The Jewish community of Lebanon is on excellent terms with other groups in the country, it is reported in a message received here today from the Lebanese Chief Rabbi, Shabbatai Bahbout. The message, which emphasizes the fact that Jews enjoy full rights in Lebanon as do all other groups, is an outgrowth of the visits recently paid President Alfred Nacache and other government officials by the Chief Rabbi and other Jewish community leaders.
