An appeal to ameliorate the harsh provisions of the Lithuanian Sunday Law, which endangers the economic conditions of the Jews there was made to the Minister of the Interior Arawizius, by a delegation from the Lithuanian Rabbis Union. The Minister agreed to take the matter up at a meeting of the Cabinet. In the meantime the Jews here are anxiously awaiting the result of the intervention.
