Jews of various sections of Brooklyn are organizing drives as their participation in the Greater New York Campaign of the United Jewish Appeal, which is seeking $1,200,000 from the Jews of New York to aid in a program of relief and reconstruction for Jews of Germany.

A general borough committee has already been formed with Judge Mitchell May as honorary chairman and William Aaron Levy as chairman. Headquarters of the Brooklyn Division are located at the St. George Hotel, 51 Clark street.

Supplementing the general Brooklyn Committee, sectional committees have been formed in different parts of the borough to undertake intensive solicitation of funds from Jews in those sections.

Whether it’s local, domestic or foreign, if it’s news about Jewish life you’ll find it in the Jewish Daily Bulletin.
