The World Union of Jews of Volhyn, a province in Russia where the Jewish communities were wiped out during the Nazi occupation of the Second World War, today announced plans for the construction of a memorial building here to honor the Jewish martyrs of the Volhyn district. The structure will be known as “Volhyn Memorial House.”
