Immediate establishment of Jewish schools throughout Polish territory under German control has been ordered by Nazi authorities, according to dispatches reaching here today.
The Jewish Council in Poland will be obliged to undertake construction and upkeep of such schools but the general educational program will be under the supervision of German school officials. Attendance will be obligatory for Jewish children. The Jewish Council will be permitted in certain circumstances to obtain confiscated Jewish funds to defray the expenses of this program, it was said.
