The Moscow offices of the Idgescom (All Russian Jewish Public Committee) reports the receipt of a note from the Joint Distribution Committee, according to which hundreds of Jews who have wandered into Constantinople without Russian or Turkish passports are now helplessly stranded.
The Yidgescom confirms this report from its offices in Constantinople and other eastern ponts. It warns Jews who are planning to emigrate there to obtain first the necessary papers and to beware of swindling railroad agents seeking to fleece the would-be emigrant, regardless of consequences.
