World Jewish organizations will present two memorandums to the Four Power meeting to take place at the end of this month in Berlin, it was announced here today by Dr. Nahum Goldmann, head of the Jewish Claims Conference, prior to his departure from Israel.
One memorandum will draw the attention of the Big Powers to the fact that they must assure the execution of the reparations agreements between Germany and the Jewish groups in the event there is a decision that Germany is to be unified. The second memorandum will deal with Jewish claims against Austria and will ask this Big Powers that they intervene with the Austrian Government to meet these claims.
Dr. Goldmann, who left today for Switzerland, will meet there with Dr. Emil Maurer, president of the Vienna Jewish Community, on the stand of the Austrian Government which has rejected the claims of World Jewish organizations for heirless Jewish property left by families annihilated by the Nazis in Austria. Dr. Goldmann indicated that he may confer with U. S. Secretary of State John Foster Dulles on this subject if the situation requires it.
