Jews’s Part in Latvia’s Liberation is Ignored Jewish Deputy Charges

A note of protest was introduced into the preparations for the celebration of the tenth anniversary of Latvia’s independence.

Deputy Lazarson charged that the government ignores the Jewish participants in Latvia’s liberation. Only a small number of Jews received distinction for their share in the country’s struggle for independence. No Jews were granted part of the land which was divided among the country’s liherators.
