A new center for the preservation and study of the history of Southern California’s Jewish community has been established at the Jewish Community Library. Harold H. Friedman, chairman of the Jewish Federation council’s Library Committee, has announced. According to Mr. Friedman, the center will maintain an archival collection serving scholars, students and historians interested in the history of Jewish residents of this area.
